We were just in the area and passing through. I haven’t spoken to the school but I felt that the cut-outs were representing the school community and had been done by the students.
The one on the front gate looked like the principal!
Sometimes these sorts of things are part of an ‘Artists in Schools’ project.
They certainly stood out and made us stop for a closer look!
I thought something like that at our local school and kindergarten would be a step towards making people feel like they were entering a community, rather than still being on a major road.
